Money Smart for Older Adults

On July 14, 2021, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) announced their joint release of the financial education curriculum, Money Smart for Older Adults. This enhanced version of the curriculum includes a new section educating people on how to avoid “romance scams.” In addition, it includes an updated resource guide that can be found here. The FDIC and the CFPB have also released a new informational brochure on COVID-19 related scams, which can be found here.
